Resha is a mental health counsellor. She is a Canadian Certified Counselor and a member of the Canadian Counselor and Psychotherapy Association. She is also licensed from the Community Development Authority in Dubai. Having worked in Canada, Kuwait and Dubai for over ten years, she brings with her extensive multicultural experience in clinical and educational settings.
She has presented numerous psycho-educational workshops, led professional development sessions, contributed to research and has been featured in several media publications and programs. Through this, she aims to increase awareness of mental health issues and normalise seeking help. Resha conducts counselling in both English and Arabic with a diverse client population using a compassionate eclectic approach. Her areas of interests include relationship and marital issues, identity and self-esteem issues, grief and loss, family conflict, depression and anxiety disorders, stress management and assertiveness training. In her free time, she enjoys writing, reading, socialising, travelling to experience new cultures. She has a passion for empowering others in making positive lifestyle changes and reaching their full potential. She values the significance of strong supportive relationships and believes that we all can become our best version of ourselves and enjoy life to its fullest.
